The Secret Garden is a fantastic guesthouse in Chiang Mai, composed of individual bungalows all different, equipped with every comfort, and scattered in a tropical garden that makes you forget the city and the traffic that characterizes it.
Among the bungalows, there are also typical teak structures that house a fully stocked outdoor bar beside the pool, snooker table, and shelves crammed with CDs, DVDs, and books for guests to help themselves during their stay.
Then there is the beautiful outdoor kitchen decorated with colorful tiles and spices, spices anywhere! This is the realm of Pai, Peter’s wife and co-owner of Secret Garden. Both are always available and smiling and have the gift of hospitality.
Breakfast is served in the garden and is really abundant and delicious, like the spicy dishes cooked by Pai in the evening. The beautiful thing is that if you want, you can participate either by going to the grocery store in the afternoon with her than cooking. I owe her the Thai dishes I learned to cook and the success I always have with friends!
Among the welcome bonus: Peter greets customers at the airport or station, and laundry service is offered.
A special place, and I will for sure go back to!

Personal Note
Thanks to my previous job and often for pleasure, in the last seventeen years I spent almost more time in hotels than at home. Here are those I consider special places not to be missed. Those I truly hope to come back to again and again…
These posts have nothing to do with sponsorships.
These are just places where I stayed and that I loved and feel like have to be recommended to everybody.
