To reach the city center, walk down to the river to take the subway and then a boat. A short journey within the journey that allows you to discover the lives of the citizens of Bangkok beyond the tourist areas.

The downside is that it is a bit noisy at night, but this is actually something quite usual in Bangkok unless you choose an international high-standing hotel, but it’s not my style unless I’m in New York…
