It is not a hotel but a home. The house of Consuelo’s grandmother. The house where childhood is back, and it takes only a few minutes to feel like in a novel … Edgar and Consuelo were wonderful and gave me a family on the shores of Lake Titicaca. As mentioned in the post Trip to Peru, I consider them an adoptive family overseas.

Casa Panq'arani , Puno, Perù

My room was beautiful and decorated in true Peruvian style, the garden a delight, and my hosts always available and providing a high standard quality of information.

The historic downtown is less than five minutes walking away, and the lake at no more than ten minutes. Simply a great location to visit the surrounding area. My favorite excursion was the one to Sillustani, but I’ll tell you everything about it in a dedicated post. In the meantime, you can enjoy a view of it the main pic 🙂

I’ll be back as soon as possible because both the structure and the kitchen deserve it!

Personal Note

Thanks to my previous job and often for pleasure, in the last seventeen years I spent almost more time in hotels than at home. Here are those I consider special places not to be missed. Those I truly hope to come back to again and again…

These posts have nothing to do with sponsorships.

These are just places where I stayed and that I loved and felt like have to be recommended to everybody.
